Moving… It was one of the scariest choices we had ever made.

It was 2018 when we moved from Indianapolis to Atlanta. It was scary to imagine starting our lives over in a new city after 30 years in one place… (Maybe you know how I felt!)

Despite my doubts and fears, we took the leap. Through it all, I learned a lot about myself and what I am capable of.

Our roots were in Indianapolis, but ultimately, we knew having more time together as a family was the most important thing. At the time, I was a stay-at-home mom with our children Brooke and Bennett. I had worked as a teacher for 13 years before I left the classroom to be home with them.

After staying at home with my children for over a year, my husband Chris was relocated to the Greater Atlanta Area. As we coordinated our move, we worked with a wonderful real estate agent. She took the time to get to know us and our situation.

When we finally moved, Shelley and I remained friends. She kept telling me that I had the caring personality to be a real estate agent. Eventually, I made the jump and got my REALTORS® license in 2018.

My hard work and commitment to giving my clients the best experience possible led to continued referrals and grew my business over time. As I gained more confidence in my career, I began to look at our move as the start of a new chapter in our journey.

Today, I am so happy we chose to move (even though it felt scary!). It didn’t take long for Atlanta to feel more and more like home as we made friends and established new roots, and now we have more time together as a family.

When we are not working, we enjoy traveling all over the world, as well as boating and going to the lake. (If you happen to find me out on the boat or at one of my kid’s sporting events, say hello!)

There are so many different elements that go into buying or selling a home. My goal is to make the process as simple as possible for you by coordinating all aspects of the transaction. This is the biggest investment of your life, and I want you to be comfortable and confident in your decision. That is why I take the time to get to know you and your goals in a pressure-free environment.

My experience as a teacher gives me the skills needed to properly educate my clients so they understand every step of the process. I pride myself on staying in close contact with my clients to answer any questions they may have at a moment’s notice. Often, our communication continues even after the transaction is over as they update me on everything they love about their new home, and I continue to support them as their lifelong REALTOR®.
